At the scheduled time we'll meet at the entrance to the Agnano Baths and set off on a guided tour that will take us straight back to the times of the Ancient Roman Empire.
Located on the slopes of Mount Spina, the Roman baths of Agnano stood out in the past not only for their pools but also for the exquisite decoration of their gardens. Everything was meticulously cared for, down to the smallest detail, to create a perfect and relaxing experience.
During the tour, we'll walk through the ruins of this ancient thermal complex while discovering how the heat coming from underground in this volcanic area was used to warm the facilities. Fascinating!
We'll also talk about the beneficial health properties of this type of spa and reveal the important role they played in Roman society.
After an hour-and-a-half tour, we'll say our goodbyes back at the starting point.
