Capri and Anacapri Day Trip Itinerary
Having picked you up first thing in the morning, we'll make our way to the Naples Port to take a boat to Capri. The journey, some 45 minutes long, allows the tour to see the island from the sea as well as the shore, while you relax and take in the bay.
Having arrived at this picturesque Neapolitan island we'll take a minibus from the port to Alcapari, the highest part of the island. Here you'll have free time to visit the romantic gardens of the Villa San Michele.
You'll also enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Capri coast from the cable car which takes you to Monte Solano (not included). And if the climb has made you hungry, you can discover the gastronomy of the island with a light lunch in one of Anacapri's local restaurants (included). If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, we can adapt the menu for you. All you need to do is mention this in the comments section when you make your booking.
Having got to know the largest town on the island, we'll head back to Capri and tour this part of the island by foot, visiting La Piazzetta - the main square, where locals and tourists meet in the restaurants and shops, and wander the narrow streets of the island until we arrive at Via Krupp which we will climb to reach the stunning Gardens of Augustus
From here you can enjoy spectacular views of the coast and the famous Faraglioni, the three famous rocks in Capri.
The tour then meets back in the port to from where we'll take the boat back to Naples, with the excursion finishing around 5:20 pm.
When you reserve the excursion to Capri and Anacapri you can choose the option that includes the visit to the Blue Grotto. Doing this, you'll explore the famous marine cave with its entrance partially submerged in the crystal water of the bay.
If weather conditions do not allow for a visit to the Blue Grotto, you'll enjoy a boat trip around the island instead.
Please note: this option is only available between April and October.
