Shop opening times
The majority of shops in Naples are open from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm or 8 pm. However, in the main shopping areas of the city, shops don't tend to close for lunch and some have longer opening times, like many malls.
Museum & monument opening times
Museums in Naples are usually open from 9 am to 7:30 pm, but are often closed for at least one day of the week, normally a Tuesday or Wednesday. Likewise, most tourist attractions open at around 8 am, and some don't shut until sunset, meaning longer opening hours during the summer.

Mealtimes in Naples
The last thing you want is to find all the restaurants are closed when you're hungry! In the summer, it's normal to eat fairly late in Italy, with lunch after 1 pm and dinner after 8 pm; you might find these times a little earlier during winter. Smaller restaurants usually close between the two meals, however in the main tourist areas you should find a few open throughout the day!
