You'll next stroll past the National Archaeological Museum and cross Via dei Tribunali, one of Naples' oldest streets. As you take in the elegance of the crumbling buildings lining the alleyway, your guide will reveal all about the incredible Greek and Roman legacy of the Italian city.
Reaching the quaint Piazza San Gaetano, you'll be struck by the sheer size of the San Paolo Maggiore Basilica, an enormous church that seems very out of place in the narrow labyrinthine streets of Naples Old Town.
The next stop will be outside the Naples Cathedral. Did you know this church is built on top of a temple dedicated to the Greek god Apollo? Not far from here, you'll see Piazza Gerolomini and Via Spaccanapoli, a historic street that divides Naples in two.
