Wander through the historic centre of the Italian city and follow in the footsteps of the famous Argentinian footballer with this Naples Maradona Tour, accompanied by an English speaking guide - you'll love it!
Naples Maradona Tour
At 3:30 pm we'll meet at Piazza Dante, in the heart of the historic centre of Naples. From here, we'll start a walking tour that will take us around the points of interest relating to the Argentinian footballer Diego Maradona.
We'll start by walking through the old town of Naples, finding photographs, altars and statues in homage to this great figure of the great game along the way. We'll talk about how Maradona became an idol in this city after Napoli won the UEFA Cup in the late nineties, a historic achievement!
Our next stop will be the Nilo Bar, known as the temple of Maradona. There you'll find the ten commandments of the Maradonian church and even a flask that is said to contain the tears of the famous character. It's said that this football legend is almost a god for the Neapolitans. We'll also enjoy a coffee here.
The tour will continue around the capital of Campania revealing curiosities of Maradona's life and discovering street art murals with his face and the Naples football club crest. You won't stop taking pictures!
The tour will end at 6 pm at the train station in piazzale Vincenzo Tecchio.
