Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet on Via Duomo, in the heart of the historic center of Naples. From here, we'll access the Royal Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro to begin to learn about its history.

Did you know that San Gennaro is the patron saint of Naples? His Royal Chapel houses, in addition to his relics, numerous pieces of art donated by different Popes, sovereigns, and the Neapolitan people themselves.

During the tour, we'll see the sacristy, tour the chapels, and see a set of nearly 50 sculptures of gold, silver, bronze, and precious stones. A magnificent sample of Neapolitan baroque before our eyes!

Of course, we'll delve into the biography of San Gennaro. We'll unveil the legends that exist about his birth and hear about his martyrdom back in the 4th century.

After a visit of 50-60 minutes, we'll conclude the tour and leave the chapel.
